Global Dir. of Strategic Accounts
Responsibilities
  • Identify, design, build, lead and execute on Global strategy for VIS’ Global Strategic Accounts portfolio. Builds strategic accounts organization, responsible for executing sales plan through fostering and managing relationships with key executives and implementing strategies for expanding solutions for customers
  • Develop sales and operations strategies for market penetration and portfolio growth, executing in conjunction with internal stakeholders to drive overall performance
  • Lead commercialization initiatives VIS’ global business, driving growth initiative and enterprise solutions
  • Partners closely with VIS Medical Affairs to drive close and compliant collaboration with field, clinical, and medical education strategies.
  • Responsible for collaborating with Medical Affairs to develop and foster KOL relationships and ensuring the delivering to customer a singular Varian “voice”.
  • Works closely with VIS Medical Affairs to assist in executing the in-field strategy around research investment programming
  • Responsible for all facets of strategic account management including organizing and facilitating factory and executive leadership visitations
  • Provide exemplary leadership through proactive communication, effective change management and strategy alignment within the organization
  • Oversee effective integration, teaming, and collaboration between the strategic accounts team and the rest of Varian and Siemens Healthineers
  • Act as liaison and VIS strategic account representation across the Varian and SHS eco-system
  • Evaluates impact of changes and recommends/implements associated proactive strategy in value-based healthcare trends and continued hospital network consolidation
  • Assists in the implementation of business and operational process improvement across the VIS organization
  • Plays an active role in the planning and execution around the Global VIS go to market approach
  • Plans, and implements process improvement initiatives with respect to the VIS global organization
  • Drives accountability and execution of meeting and exceeding budgets in orders, revenue, and expenses
  • Implements policies and proactive changes towards maximizing customer satisfaction and ultimately better patient care
Skills & Knowledge
  • Interventional Radiology, Medical Affairs, Oncology specific product and/or associated medical device industry and commercial knowledge, preferably in radiology, interventional oncology and/or oncology.
  • Ability to develop, influence, and sustain relationships with key decision makers, including C-suite level, as well has have an in-depth understanding of key customer processes that aide success
  • Command executive presence both internally and externally by articulating larger value proposition across the VIS and Varian portfolio
  • Understanding and application of Value Based Healthcare Concepts
  • Orders forecasting experience and track record of meeting or exceeding budgets
  • Experience with effective integration of various, collaborating working groups within a larger, matrix, organization
  • Interpersonal skills, organizational, and Selling skills
Education & Experience
  • 10 years of related experience including at least 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Proven track record of managing successful commercial organizations
  • Account management, territory management and negotiation experience
  • Proven ability to set a vision, lead change and to mentor others
  • Ability to perform significant global travel (60%+)
